2026 HSRM Conference Information

William Wood is a graduate of the Global School of Supernatural Ministry. Before William attended GSSM, he pastored as an associate pastor for six years. This church is still thriving and continuing the call of God in their region. In 2005 William Wood had a dramatic encounter with God where he was supernaturally delivered from alcohol and drug abuse. Since this encounter, he has had a passion for revival and seeing people step into the fullness of what Christ paid for on the cross. For William, Ephesians 4:11–13 is a crucial passage: “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.”

In light of this scripture, William is focused on equipping the saints for the work of ministry. His heart is to see the body of Christ become a mature man unto the measure of the stature that belongs to the fullness of Christ. As Jesus himself walked the earth as a mature son, William’s passion is to see the body of Christ walk in the same manner, thus fulfilling the declaration Jesus made in John 14:12, that we would do the works He did and even greater.

In William’s case, these motivations take the shape of itinerant ministry and discipleship. In regards to itinerant (traveling) ministry, William says, “I believe that by traveling across the world equipping churches through conferences, training workshops, power evangelism, and missions that we are helping them step into their fullness.” He describes his heart for discipleship as a belief that by helping churches develop their discipleship programs through a focus on Jesus’ model of discipleship, they will help to mature the body of Christ.

 Dr. Clayton Ford, Ambassador at Large of Holy Spirit Renewal Ministries. Clay graduated from Davidson College in NC and the American Baptist Seminary of the West, before receiving the Doctor of Ministry degree from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Seminary) in Philadelphia.  He has been an active pastor, author, renewal leader and speaker for four decades.  Pastor Ross is the Vice Chairman of HSRM and recently retired as a long time pastor at First Baptist in Billings, Montana.

 Steve is an author and speaker with an apostolic calling to the nations. Steve's passion is to bring healing and deliverance to others as well as equip others to use the gifts of the Spirit for expanding the Kingdom through power evangelism by providing training and impartation. In the past, Steve had also served in jail ministry for several years.

 Pastor Ed Owens is the past HSRM Chairman and a frequent teacher for Renewal School of Ministires. He served as the long time pastor in Lansing, Michigan and in his retired life he serves the American Baptist Churches of Michigan as Program Support and Associate Regional Minister for the Central Area of Michigan.

  Cheryl Ford has been in Christian ministry since her early twenties. In addition to her writing, she has a passion for the local church and has served in ministry alongside her husband, Dr. Clayton Ford, for 40 years. She is considered an expert related to John Bunyan’s classic, “The Pilgrim’s Progress.” Her book, “The Pilgrim’s Progress: Faithfully Retold in Today’s English” (Tyndale House Publishers), is a Gold Medallion Award winner. She also has authored “The Pilgrim’s Progress Devotional” (Crossway Books) and “The Pilgrim’s Progress Discipleship Course” (Westbow Press). Additionally, she published the Women of the Word series – “Treasures from the Heart,” “Healing of the Heart,” and “Triumphs of the Heart” (Crossway Books) – relating our lives to those of various biblical women. Her interest in writing began when she first taught The Pilgrim’s Progress to a class of teens and saw the need for a more authentic and relatable version for today’s readers.
