The church is exploding in Afghanistan, in Iran, in Iraq , in Pakistan , and in very deeply entrenched Muslim countries. There is a radical turning to Jesus Christ in these countries that is not being reported in the news. All over Asia, South America, Africa, Eastern Europe, the church is exploding in ways that is staggering to the imagination . . . One of the reasons this has been happening has been a recovery of the supernatural power of God's Kingdom and His Holy Spirit around the world, as signs and wonders have broken out all over the world and people are being healed in the name of Jesus.

Europe is still fading. We're in trouble in Europe. How about America? I've spoken over the last 30 years in 45 states around the country, and on 200 college campuses, and in hundreds of churches. My sense is that we're basically holding our own; we're not sinking but we're not making huge strides at this point. But I think things are poised for us to grow rapidly in the next 10 years if certain things happen. And one of the things that I believe needs to happen is a recovery of the power of God's kingdom across denominational lines. This can no longer be identified as a charismatic issue; it has to be a kingdom issue. I hope this encourages your heart. Folks, something is going on that's weird. The word "weird," by the way, means out of this world. That's the root meaning of the word, and something out of this world is happening that thrills my heart, and it's very encouraging.
