Worship plays an enormously
vital role at our Holy Spirit
conferences. Holly Benner (far left),
who is on staff at Redeemer Fellowship
Church in Monroe, MI, is our primary
Green Lake worship leader. Here she is
joined by regulars Dr. John and Linda
Piippo (on the right), and by recent
second year grads from the Bethel
School of Supernatural Ministry, Hannah
Ford and Anna Lutke (center).

evening session. Klein and Karen are
leaders and on the worship team in
their home church and are Green Lake
regulars. Karen serves faithfully as a
member of the HSRM National Service
Committee.

Jeff Edwards comes to Green
Lake as a graduate of the Redeemer
School of Ministry (in Monroe, MI). He
rededicated his life to Christ on
Thanksgiving Day 2007 while attending a
"Warm Blessings" Thanksgiving
Dinner for the needy provided by First
Baptist Church of Chula Vista, CA. Jeff
at that time was homeless with a number
of addictions and other problems. He
quickly jumped into fellowship, and
Chula Vista FBC church scholarships
made it possible for him to attend our
2008 conference. The rest is
history.

Chris Overstreet in ministry

2010. He will be joined by Lee Spitzer,

it!!!

retired ministers and missionaries at
Atherton Baptist Homes in Alhambra, CA
this past August. Clay is currently the
pastor at La Jolla Christian Fellowship
(lajollacf.org)
in La Jolla, CA and also the national
Chair of Holy Spirit Renewal
Ministries. Clay and Cheri started
ministry in La Jolla on July 15; their
new church is supportive of Clay's
HSRM role and has freed him to travel
up to 25 percent of the time. Hannah
Ford has recently joined the staff at
La Jolla as part-time worship leader
and liaison/outreach to young adults.
God is on the move!

Dr. John and Linda Piippo
(picture pending) went in August to
minister in Sioux Fall, SD. There were
tremendous spiritual breakthroughs in
the personal lives of many and in the
corporate church life of the host
church, First Baptist Church of Sioux
Falls. Following is a report from
Teri Nyberg, HSRM Executive
Committee member and member at FBC
Sioux Falls:
In August of 2009 First Baptist
Church of Sioux Falls, S. Dakota was
blessed to have Dr. John and Linda
Piippo minister for a "Prayer and
Worship Weekend." John is the
senior pastor of Redeemer Fellowship
Church in Monroe, Michigan and his
wife, Linda is a classically trained
pianist and voice teacher. They both
used their gifts of teaching scripture
and music to help draw us closer to the
Lord throughout the weekend.
In addition to members of Sioux
Falls First Baptist, several pastors
and friends from our community attended
the event. All were deeply touched by
the teaching and worship that made us
hunger for more of God's Presence.
John encouraged us to "spend much
time alone with God, listening for His
voice, and to keep a written record of
what He says." Many of our friends
are still saying, "I'm doing
it"! Many came to believe that
they too could hear the voice of the
Lord through scripture, meditating,
prayer, and silence.
John and Linda were also available
to minister to people one on one. They
encourage dso many of our friends. The
Piippo's enriched our church and
community. We were so blessed to have
God use them here and we consider them
great friends in the Lord. -- Sioux
